Purgatory’s favorite holiday tradition! Dec 31, 2022 from 6:00pm-6:30pm at the Base Area, patrollers and ski instructors will be coming down the mountain, lighting up the night with bright torchlights. Once the parade has finished, stick around for the fireworks show!
2022 is on the way out and it’s time to celebrate Durango and your family and friends with a unique and light-hearted scavenger hunt. This is a hunt like you have never done before with creative challenges, social experimentation and being detectives on the hunt for local stories( no google allowed so you are going old school!) Bond with your loved ones, meet and talk to locals and capture fun videos and photos in this unusual romp through the downtown area. Santa's elf whispered in our ears a local merchant may provide the winning team yummy prizes!

The Animas City Theatre is hosting a special New Year's Eve bash this year with DJ Matteo spinning an all-vinyl 70's disco set. Tickets are $15 during the presale and $20 day of the show. Catch the tunes starting at 9:30 pm and kick out the jams at the dance-off competition.
There will be a complimentary champagne toast at midnight and prizes for best costume, plus a dance-off contest.
Doors at 8:30pm. Music from 9:30pm to 12:30am. This is a 21 and up event.
