San Juan Brewfest is an annual beer fest gathering hundreds of beer munchies in Buckley Park in the historic Downtown Durango, Colorado. The two-day celebration traditionally takes place in late August, on the weekend preceding the Labor Day Weekend. About 35 breweries, each offering two to three prime beers, and hundreds of visitors make San Juan Brewfest the best-in-class celebration across the Four Corners. Besides, food vendors and live music make for an even more enjoyable experience.
The festivities run on Friday, 5 pm to 8 pm, and Saturday, 1 pm to 5 pm. Yet, note that the first day is for VIP attendees only. San Juan Brewfest sells 500 VIP tickets and 1,500 general admission tickets. They typically go on sale in early summer on the event's official website, which you can find along with the official Facebook in the External Resources below. The funds raised go to the United Way of Southwest Colorado.
